Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church is located in the historical seaside town of Bristol, Rhode Island. The Church was founded in 1917 following an 18 year tradition begun in 1899 by the Italian immigrants who came to this area honoring Mary, Queen of Carmel with a feast and procession each year on the 16th of July.Click here for details. This feast continues to this day in prayerful and joyous festivities. Come and visit us and give honor to the Blessed Mother of God as she leads us to Christ.
Remember O Most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought they intercession was left un aided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee O Virgin of Virgins my Mother. To thee I come before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate depsise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me, AMEN
O God, who through the fruitful virginity of Blesssed Mary bestowed on the human race the grace of eternal slavation,

that we may experience the intercession of her,
through whom we weree found worthy to receive the author of life, our Lord Jesus Christ,

MISSION TRIP TO THE MUSTARD SEED
COMMUNITY AND ORPHANAGE IN NICARAGUA
Sixteen of our young people, four adults and Fr. Dandeneau will be heading to Nicaragua next August. They are in the midst of raising the $35,000.00 they need for the trip. They are almost at half that goal. Can you help???? If you wish to make a donation to the trip, you can do so by sending a check made payable to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. With an Italian Heritage as a foundation, the parish and the school, since the early 1900's, have grown in this journey of faith as we together proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
